Sidoarjo – Approaching the 5th Anniversary on January 18 2024, Hotel Neo+ Waru Sidoarjo together with Kampung Anak Negeri, UPTD Liponsos Kalijudan Surabaya is holding an exhibition of paintings created by children with disabilities.
The exhibition, which took place at the Neo+ Waru Sidoarjo Hotel Lobby, was officially opened on January 9 2024. A number of works of art will be exhibited over the next month.
Mr. Arief, as the secretary of the Surabaya Social Service, said that he was very grateful for this program, because apart from that, the Surabaya City Social Service also actually has a Disability Work program as a forum for children to develop their talents and it turns out it can also be expressed on this occasion. The opening ceremony for this painting exhibition was continued with painting activities by representatives of the children of the UPTD Liponsos Kalijudan State Children's Village. Nisrina Mardani as Hotel Manager said "This painting exhibition is a form of our concern for the children assisted by Liponsos Kalijudan, our aim is for the wider community to see the work of these talented children directly. Of course we hope that these paintings can be sold out in the future."
Martha Chrisma, Marketing Communication at Neo+ Waru Sidoarjo Hotel, revealed that the children's paintings can also be purchased by hotel guests and the general public who come to see their paintings. "This painting will be sold at quite affordable prices starting from IDR 3,000,000 to IDR 10,000,000 and we will hand over all the proceeds from the sale to UPTD Liponsos Kalijudan Surabaya"
